When I reviewed Porsche Carrera GT for The Truth About Cars, not a single commentator pointed out that you could buy 43 Volkswagen Passats for the same money. Here at The Truth About Guns, whenever we review a gun that costs over a grand someone inevitably feels obliged to mention how many GLOCKs (and range ammo) could be had for the same price. I get it. A GLOCK is a great gun. But more money usually does buy you mo’ better; whether that’s looks, durability, reliability, accuracy, history, something. So quit yer bitching — and I say that in nicest possible way — and tell me how you’d spend $10k on guns, gear and/or ammo if you had it. Me, I’d buy a Cabot and spend the rest on training. You?
