Holster maker DeSantis announced two new holster fits designed to accommodate this year’s highly anticipated Hudson Mfg. H9.
DeSantis unveiled that the Speed Scabbard and Thumb Break Scabbard will launch models to accommodate the H9. The Speed Scabbard is designed to meet the needs of “plainclothes professionals” who prefer a holster with no thumb break. Precise molding in addition to tension screws work to safely retain the firearm. Featuring belt slots 1 3/4-inches wide, the holster is priced at $77.99.
DeSantis’ second option for H9 fans is the Thumb Break Scabbard. The rig offers precision molding paired with an optimal draw angle to create a concealable leather holster. Positioned to ride high, the scabbard’s tension device locks the gun into place, securing it for better concealabilty and safety. Touting suede lining and/or a basket weave finish, the holster offers a retail price of $77.99.
The Hudson Mfg H9 made a splash at SHOT Show 2017 in Las Vegas with its striker-fired 9mm meets 1911 design. Hudson announced in mid-October that the gun was finally shipping to distributors boasting a price tag of $1,147.
