Democrats Propose to Ban Plastic Guns

It wasn’t enough to want to ban 3D printers and internet blueprints on how to print plastic magazines and gun parts, Democrats in Congress are now moving to ban plastic guns altogether.

This comes after reports of the TSA’s complete incompetence in failing to detect weapons and fake bombs in 67 out of 70 tests. That’s a 95% failure rate to do their job.

Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) is backing the Undetectable Firearms Modernization Act, saying that plastic guns are more dangerous than regular guns because they are harder to detect. This Act would prohibit the production and manufacturing of entirely plastic guns.

This legislation would require every gun to contain enough traces of metal to be detected. Of course, TSA agents could not even detect regular guns with metal parts.

According to thehill.com, Rep. Israel is using the TSA’s failure to excuse his push for a ban on plastic guns.
