Delaware Waterfowl Hunting Seasons Reopened Through Dec. 5

Delaware -(Ammoland.com)- DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife reminds waterfowlers who hunt in Delaware that the next seasonal segment for hunting migratory ducks and Canada geese runs from now through Saturday, Dec. 5.

Other current or upcoming migratory waterfowl seasons are:

  • Ducks and Canada geese: Third and final season segment begins Friday, Dec. 18 and is open through Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016;
  • Brant: Tuesday, Dec. 22-Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, and Saturday, Jan. 9-Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016; daily bag limit one and possession limit three*;
  • Snow geese: Season continues through Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016; daily bag limit 25, no possession limit; includes Ross’ geese. Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with permission of refuge manager.
  • Sea duck: Special season continues through Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 within the designated Special Sea Duck Hunt Area, located not less than 800 yards from shore between Port Mahon/Elbow Cross Navigation Light and the Delaware-Maryland line.
