This is a sad story of a mother giving her daughter driving lessons, and not having a weapon near her to defend herself.

A mother of four died days after being shot in the head outside her home following a road rage incident.

Las Vegas Police say Tammy Meyers, 44, was teaching her 15-year-old daughter how to drive Thursday when there was some kind of near-collision with another car.

Meyers had a confrontation with at least one passenger from the car, which then followed the mother and daughter back to their home.
