Davidson’s dropped five new Ruger products in the Mark IV and commander-style SR1911 series featuring colorful anodized frames or receivers.
Exclusive to Davidson’s, the Mark IV 22/45 Lite comes with a green, red or purple anodized receiver. The pistols feature a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear. Boasting a 4.40-inch threaded barrel, the Mark IV model provides a grip angle and controls that are similar to that of a 1911. The anodized receivers are machined from aluminum and ventilated to lighten the pistol’s overall feel. In addition, the receivers are drilled and tapped and a Picatinny rail is included for optics mounting.
The Ruger SR1911 features a classic aesthetic but with a colorful twist of either red or purple. The commander sized 1911 boasts a 4.25-inch barrel chambered in .45 ACP. Alongside the red anodized finish, Davidson’s has also outfitted the model with red laminate grips and a low glare stainless steel slide.
