Professional shooter Dave Sevigny ended his month of August with double United States Practical Shooting Association state and regional wins.

The first win came at the USPSA Georgia State event, held Aug. 28- 29 in Dawsonville, Ga. The second victory came at the USPSA Area 8 Championship Aug. 27-30 in Fredericksburg, Va.

Georgia State drew 256 total competitors among six USPSA divisions while Area 8 was host to 327. With the National championships approaching, the Limited division saw a high number of participants in both events.

The IPSC Nationals will be held in Frostproof, Fla., Sept. 12-13, where Sevigny is the 2014 Standard division defending champion.

“We are proud anytime Dave wins a major championship, but especially when in our headquarters home state,”GASTON J GLOCK CEO Beate Arnold said. “We look forward to seeing Dave’s results in the upcoming IPSC and USPSA Nationals.”

Sevigny is a top ranked World and National Champion with more than 200 major pistol championship wins.
