Georgia-based Daniel Defense this week drew a crowd by lifting the curtain on their newest offering: a modular bolt-action rifle that offers custom performance without the wait time.
The new Delta 5, available in .308 Win, 6.5mm Creedmoor, and 7mm-08 Rem, has a user-interchangeable, stainless cold hammer forged barrel that comes suppressor-ready with 5/8x24TPI threads. Equipped with an adjustable single-stage Timney Elite Hunter trigger, the action includes a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw and removable knob.

User-configurable with adjustable cheek risers while the buttstock’s height and length of pull can be changed, the stock includes 11 M-LOK points for accessories.

Barrel length varies by caliber from .308 Win (20-inches) to 6.5 Creedmoor and 7mm-08 Rem, which come in at 24-inches. Likewise, the weight starts at 8.9-pounds and goes to 9.5 with the longer barrels.
