The anti-gun movement thinks that the NRA gets most of their money from corporate sponsors like
Even CNN, the usually fake news network, gets it right this time:
A CNNMoney analysis of federal campaign finance records shows that much of this money comes from everyday Americans. And these contributions, which the NRA uses to keep pro-gun lawmakers in office, are on the rise.
Some political funding comes from big corporations, many within the gun industry, which donate millions to the NRA. But companies are barred from donating to the NRA’s political action committee, which the agency uses to fill campaign coffers, run ads and send out mailers for and against candidates.

Another interesting story is from a Texas gun owner who donates 5%-10% of his income to the NRA every month!
It is a good percentage of my income, but I want to do everything I can easily do to preserve my freedoms.
In the Clinton presidency I became alarmed with the steady attack on gun rights and more so when Al Gore campaigned on gun licensing. I believe the eventual goal is to prevent the average private citizen from owning guns.
