Dallas, TX -(AmmoLand.com)- Millions of sportsman across the nation will be asked to demand that the six presidential candidates state their position on the future of Alaska’s Pebble Mine.

A Tele-Press Conference is scheduled for 1:00 PM EST, Thursday, February 24, 2016, to launch the “Take A Stand On Pebble” Presidential Candidate Letter. To participate call 877-229-8493, and enter the PIN number 114565.

“Bristol Bay is a highly valued world-class wildlife habitat that positively impacts thousands of jobs,” said Ben Carter, Executive Director of the Dallas Safari Club. “This unique area must be protected for future generations. The Pebble Mine project presents significant risks to both local, regional and national interests, there simply is too much at stake to allow the Pebble Mine project to move forward.”

Bristol Bay is home to more than 40 terrestrial mammal species, including bears, moose and caribou. All five Pacific salmon species found in North America, as well as more than 20 other fish species and 190 bird species are also found in the affected area.
