Dallas Ecological Foundation’s Recent Fundraiser Raises Six Figures for Conservation
DALLAS, TX (Ammoland.Com) – Dallas Ecological Foundation (DEF) is proud to announce tremendous success – garnering nearly $170,000 – for their first-ever fundraising banquet, “Rendezvous of the Guardians” held earlier this spring. The funds raised will directly impact more than 500 schools over the next two years as part of DEF’s Outdoor Adventure (OA) program.
The evening was highlighted by notable guests, including keynote speaker, Larry Potterfield with Midway USA, sharing his vision for success in life and business and a special appearance by President Teddy Roosevelt (Joe Wiegand) along with radio personality, Big Billy Kinder, to keep the evening fun and light.
“Special thanks to the generous support of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees,” said DEF Chairman Abe Nayfa. “The proceeds raised will directly benefit DEF’s mission to teach outdoor education and to promote and fund conservation of wildlife worldwide.” The financial support from this event will impact more than 500 schools over the next two years. By 2018, more than 50,000 students annually will be enrolled in the Outdoor Adventures program.
