CZ 457 Varmint Precision Trainer Brings Full-Size Features to Rimfire Rifle

CZ 457 Varmint Precision Trainer / SR

Delivering the look and feel a full-sized tactical rifle, the CZ 457 Varmint Precision Trainer/SR comes in .22 LR. A special Manners carbon fiber composite stock provides a solid platform. It features a three-color camouflage finish with a base of carbon fiber peeking through the background. The stock utilizes multiple layers of carbon fiber and fiberglass for strength and durability, according to CZ-USA.

The Varmint Precision Trainer/SR features a 24-inch, tapered Varmint barrel for precision shooting. However, CZ offers other barrel lengths as well. The “SR” designates Suppressor-Ready, with the rifle sporting 1/2×28 threading.

The rifle also features a push-to-fire safety. Additionally, the action got trimmed back nearly one inch for comfort. Meanwhile, the CZ slab-sided the action to reduce the footprint and weight.
