Custom Knifemakers Support American Knife & Tool Institute’s “Giving Back” Event

Cody, WY –-(Ammoland.com)- The American Knife & Tool Institute (AKTI) is pleased to announce its second AKTI Giving Back event will be held on Friday evening, June 2rd in Atlanta, Georgia.
So far thirteen handmade custom knifemakers Tony Bose, Russ Kommer, Steve Jernigan, Tom Veff, Lucas Burnley, Brian Tighe, Ken Onion, D’Holder, Ed VanHoy, Ken Steigerwalt, Alan Folts, Jesper Voxnaes, and Robert Carter have committed to donate a knife to be auctioned during the Blade Show at the Renaissance Waverly, Atlanta.
“We’re excited about the many AKTI supporters eager to donate to our second ‘Giving Back’ fundraiser,” said event chair Rod Bremer of CRKT. “At the event knives from custom makers will be available on a live auction, giving people who otherwise would not have the opportunity a chance to own a knife by one of these great makers.”
Knives will be auctioned and 50% of the proceeds from the custom knife will go to the charity of maker’s choice. The remaining 50% will go to AKTI to help fund legislative and educational efforts. There will also be several specialty knives …Read the Rest
