Couple Denied Foster Parenting Roles Due to Concealed Carry Permits

CARSON CITY — A Nevada couple recently was denied the role of foster parents because they are concealed carry permit holders.

Brian and Valerie Wilson are Las Vegas residents who have aspired to become foster parents, leading to eventually adopt children someday. This dream is not going to come true for the time being because they were recently denied due to a state regulation that disallows foster parents to carry loaded weapons.
