Bachman is out after the rut, so bucks are starting to drift away from the does and head out on their own.

After stalking in on a big mature muley, Bachman finds her opening and quickly tries to settle in for the shot. Unfortunately, the buck never quit moving regardless of her efforts.

“Things change so quickly here, especially when you have the number of deer Story Creek Outfitters has, so you always need to stay positive. You never know what will be around the next corner,” said Bachman.
