We all know the firearms industry is just a whole bunch of people looking to help others.

Especially when it comes to gun safety.

As part of the Bearing Arms Against Domestic Violence campaign, we wanted to share insight from women in the industry on their experience with becoming proficient shooters, handling gun safety in the home and how they are working to share their knowledge with others. It quickly grew into a seven-part series on their common sense approach to gun safety.

The seven women interviewed are a diverse mix of gun owners, from professional shooters to grassroots Second Amendment defenders:

Jana Waller: I live in Montana with my boyfriend Jim and pitmix Petey. I host Skull Bound TV on The Sportsman Channel, currently filming for it’s sixth season. When I’m not hunting, fishing or filming I paint and bead European skulls for a gallery in Jackson Hole as well as work on custom skull designs for customers. I’m passionate about conservation and helping people understand that hunters are truly animal lovers.
