The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) invites young men and women shooters to apply for CMP scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year. The CMP offers $1,000 and $2,000 one-year scholarships to current high school seniors. Since 2005, CMP has awarded over $1 million in scholarship grants. Winning scholarship recipients, in their senior year of high school, came from JROTC schools, 4-H groups, and other shooting clubs. An additional individual scholarship in the amount of $5000 will be awarded to the graduating senior who best exemplifies the program’s ideals. And last year the CMP added three other $5000 scholarships.

NEW $30,000 Scholarship Program for Top 15 Applicants
Along with the $1,000 scholarships awarded by the CMP, the Garand Collectors Association (GCA) has generously donated $30,000 to the CMP to be used for additional student-athlete scholarship earnings. The Top 15 recipients, after the top individual, determined by CMP staff and board members, will receive an extra $2,000 toward their furthered education, for a combined $3,000 per person.
CMP Scholarships are based on merit. Candidates are high school seniors involved with a team or club participating in rifle or pistol marksmanship competitions. Applicants must provide rifle or pistol competition
