Clark County Undersheriff Kevin McMahill, the second-in-command at the department, recently told Las Vegas radio station KNPR that the Question One gun control ballot initiative would not reduce the number of gun deaths in the Las Vegas valley. The Question One gun control ballot initiative, which is largely bankrolled by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, would impose new government mandates and fees on nearly all private transfers of firearms in Nevada.
