Celebrities unite in new video to ‘reject the NRA and its dangerous agenda’

Celebrities like Julianne Moore and Sheryl Crow have teamed up in a brand-new public service announcement to urge Americans to “reject the National Rifle Association and its dangerous agenda” in the wake of the deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas.

What’s in the video?

The latest entertainer-centric, anti-gun campaign for Everytown For Gun Safety featured the PSA, which specifically calls out the NRA and targets silencers and concealed carry permits.

A variety of celebrities appear on-screen, urging watchers to text “REJECT” to the Everytown group to support their cause.

The entertainers tell viewers that the gun control group will call those who text “REJECT” and provide them with contacts for their lawmakers, as well as provide them with a script on how to handle the call to their congressmen.

What is Everytown trying to tackle now?

One bill in particular that Everytown is concerned with is HR 38 — the “Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017” — which would amend federal criminal code to allow people to carry concealed weapons in any state if they are eligible and qualified to do so in their home state.
