CanCooker’s Fisher Wins Costa FLW Series Championship

FREMONT, Neb. -(Ammoland.com)- CanCooker-sponsored FLW fisherman Pat Fisher of Colbert, Ga., clenched the Costa FLW Series Championship at Missouri’s Table Rock Lake, Nov. 6.

Competing against 191 top pro anglers from around the world in the three-day tournament, Fisher’s bass catch weighed in at a whopping 40 pounds, 4 ounces, earning him the championship title and $50,200 prize money.

He also gained a berth in the 2017 Forrest Wood bass fishing tournament.

The Costa FLW Series consists of five U.S. divisions: Central, Northern, Southeastern, Southwestern and Western, as well as an International division that features anglers from Canada, China, Mexico, South Africa and South Korea.

The highest finishing pro from each U.S. division and the new International division based on their finish qualify for the 2017 Forrest Wood Cup, along with the overall top five finishers not already selected as the highest finisher of a division.

A total of 11 FLW Series boaters will advance to the coveted 2017 Forrest Wood Cup at Lake Murray in Columbia, South Carolina. CanCooker’s Fisher proudly has his slot.
