Caldwell Shooting Supplies launched the new Lead Sled DFT 2 Shooting Rest designed to reduce recoil on the range.
The DFT 2 offers shooters the ability to slide the front cradle back and forth along the dual frame allowing for a versatile fit for a variety of shotguns and rifles. In total, up to 18-inches of adjustment is permitted.
The new non-marring skeletonized front rest pairs durability with stability, while the dual frame design disperses a maximum amount of recoil energy to allow for consistent shots.
The DFT 2 serves up to 2.5 inches of elevation adjustment with an oversized wheel on smooth ball bearings. A baffled tray design keeps weight bags in place while rubber tipped feet provide no-skid support on any surface. Topping off the DFT 2’s attributes, is its recoil reducing rear pad, designed to disperse recoil while shooting.
The Lead Sled DFT 2 weighs in at 24 pounds and retails for $259.99.
