An updated take on the classic CZ 75, Garand Thumb puts 4,000 rounds through the SP-01 Tactical variant and stacks it up against the competition of yesteryear and today.
With an 18+1 capacity, this 9mm double stack uses a steel frame rather than polymer, which gives it a weight that surpasses your typical 1911 (40+ ounces), but that also helps contribute to better accuracy and handling characteristics than seen in some contemporary rivals.
“It just lends itself well to really just firing quickly because there is so little muzzle rise and it’s just very controllable,” says GT.
But wait, there’s more….be sure to watch the whole review.
