Months after unveiling its Retro Rifle lineup, Brownells is now introducing a pair of rifle clones built by Aero Precision designed to resemble the famed M4 carbine and M16A4 rifle.

The 5.56mm NATO M4 carbine clone features a 16-inch barrel chrome-lined M4-contour barrel with a 1:7 twist. Built with a 7075-T6 forged aluminum upper and lower and treated with a Mil-Spec hard-anodized finish, the M4 carbine clone sports the period-correct M4 RAS rail from Knight’s Armament Company. It also comes with military-issue rail covers; a KAC vertical grip; and a M16 BCG treated with a phosphate finish. Brownells says the only thing missing here is the third selector-switch position, since this is semi-auto only.
The M16A4 clone, meanwhile, has a 20-inch chrome-lined barrel with a M16/A4 exterior profile; 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower with a matte black and hard-anodized finish; and a M16 BCG with a phosphate coating. Touted as a close …Read the Rest
