BREAKING: Multiple People Shot at Festival in Northern California

Police are still arriving to the scene of what appears to be a mass shooting that could still be in progress. Reports range from 5 to 11 victims, but we won’t know anything for sure until tomorrow.

The incident unfolded during the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, which according their website sees 100,000 visitors during the 3-day event.

The hearts of Gilroy PD and entire community go out to the victims of today’s shooting at the Garlic Festival. The scene is still active. If you are looking for a loved one, please go to the reunification center at Gavilan College at parking lot B. #GilroyActiveshooter

It is not known if the suspect is in custody. We will have more on this as information becomes available.
