If I hear the laughable phrase “Boston Strong” ever uttered again to describe the metropolitan Chicken Littles in Massachusetts, I might just throw up:

Prosecutors dropped charges against a man who was arrested Friday after he boarded an MBTA bus with what appeared to be military-grade ammunition strapped to his waist.

The bullets turned out to be fake. But Boston police said they looked so convincing that several passengers called 911.

The bus driver pulled over near Cambridge and Harvard streets.

“The driver stated that the passengers were in a panic, fearing that the suspect was about to pull out a weapon,” Boston police said.

Kevin Young, 26, of Watertown, appeared in Brighton District Court to face charges of unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawfully carried dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

Yup, that’s it, folks.

Apparently, Boston is unaware of this new music called “rock ‘n roll,” and of sub-genres called “punk” and “heavy metal” where black leather and spiked clothing and yes, even belts made of inert ammunition belts are common.
