Folks, it’s important that our children knows about firearms. They’re a defensive tool that more and more people are trying to demonize, but we know better.

Children need to know the “do’s” and “don’t’s” of firearm safety — and we need to show them a good example in the way we behave.

And that’s exactly what Safety On: An Introduction to the World of Firearms for Children, a new book for children’s firearm safety, discusses.

The book, written by Yehuda Remer, is meant to serve as a resource for parents and children so that children have an example from the word “go” as to what do around a firearm.

The book’s tone is set immediately — the young boy Kyle admires his dad, and wants to be just like him.

His dad is also an firearm enthusiast and responsible owner.

The dad tells the boy that even his toy guns can be dangerous, and that he isn’t to ever treat them as if they aren’t loaded.
