Kirsten Joy Weiss sets down the match-grade rifles and picks up a blowgun then lurks around the green hell while holding class on the humble blowpipe.
Covering blowgun cultures in depth, KJW delivers a five-minute monologue on various poisons and histories behind the primitive weapon’s use while stalking through the underbrush with muddy feet. It borders on a spoken word piece but it’s jammed full of information and makes a good calming precursor to a lunch break.
Cue the “well, actually” blowgun pro at this point, but we can just mute him and watch KJW again.
