Battle Rifle Company Selected by Venus PD

Venus, TX –-(Ammoland.com)- Battle Rifle Company is proud to announce it has delivered the first 2 out of 10 rifles to the Venus Texas Police Department that were ordered to the department’s specifications.

After field testing rifles from Battle Rifle Company, Venus Police Department officials have selected the lightweight BR4 Odin platform to utilize on patrol and for special operations. Venus, Texas is a small rural community located off of Highway 67, just south of the Dallas Metro area. In recent years, there has been a major building boom south of Dallas, with immense growth in the Venus area. As a result, the Venus Police Department has moved to add rifles to their inventory to give officers more ability to deal with situations that might develop with increased growth.

Modifications were made to the Odin design to accommodate officers’ needs, including the addition of both Aimpoint PRO optics and Streamlight TLR-1 with long gun kits to outfit the rifles for any potential situation.
