Denis Prisbrey, who was one of our content creators and just an overall good person, unfortunately passed away on May 9, 2019. We were lucky enough to know him for more than 20 years and even luckier to call him a friend. He had a knack for writing long sentences without them being run-on — it was a talent that always amazed us. He was a good man and he left the world in a better place for being here. Not only did we lose a talented writer and an asset to the outdoor community, but also a great friend. Our deepest and most sincere condolences to the family.

Denis Jack Prisbrey, known to some as “Wooly Mammoth” or” Wild Stallion,” passed away during a sudden and brief stay at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City May 9, 2019, at the frustratingly young age of 66.
