The bill referenced in the photo is Connecticut Bill 1160: AN ACT CONCERNING GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND CHILDREN’S SAFETY. The post-Newtown gun control law forces gun-buying Constitution State residents to obtain a $35 “long gun eligibility certificate” (registering any long gun purchase with the state), limits ammunition magazine capacity to ten rounds and expands the list of firearms considered assault weapons (banning their sale or purchase).
