ASA Publicly Defends Law Making Suppressors Illegal

In a public statement, the American Suppressor Association (ASA) today defended a Texas statute that makes suppressors illegal.

In a post on their website, the ASA lashed out against other organizations that are working to repeal and replace the Texas law (TPC 46.05) that makes items regulated by the National Firearms Act of 1934, items like suppressors, machine guns, and short-barreled rifles and shotguns, illegal to possess, alleging that the concerns of Texas NFA owners are “fabricated”.
