An interesting story is coming out of Oklahoma, and it involves a rookie police officer, a burglary suspect and an armed citizen.

On the 5th of May, officers Michael Lambert and Adam Eller responded to a residential burglary call. When they arrived, one of the two suspects was already gone. The remaining suspect, Jermaine Williams, fled the scene on foot. Officer Eller caught the suspect in a driveway, but during the pursuit, Eller had become separated from his partner.

The initial report was that the officer was able to regain control and continue to chase the suspect. That story has changed. What is now being reported is that an armed citizen came to the rescue.
