Apex releases trigger kits for Ruger Mk IV pistols

Apex Tactical Specialties offers Ruger Mk IV fans a means to fine tune their triggers, adding a new Action Enhancement Kit for the Mk IV.
The Action Enhancement Kit for the Ruger Mk IV has been engineered by Apex to provide a more responsive trigger with a lighter pull weight and crisper break. The trigger kit also aims to reduce trigger travel.
Each kit features a safety plate that works to uphold factory safety, even passing a six foot drop test conducted by Apex. Shipping alongside the trigger components is a red anodized magazine safety delete plate, which allows the Ruger Mk IV to fire without a magazine. Apex says though the magazine plate is an optional upgrade, the company recommends it for competitors.

The company will offer two total kits — one for the Mk IV and one for Mk IV 22/45 versions. Apex says the kits will go live online via Apex’s website on Aug. 1 with orders shipping on Aug. 7.
