Apex Announces New Trigger Kit for Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 2.0

PEORIA, Ariz. –-(Ammoland.com)- Apex Tactical Specialties announces the upcoming release on Monday, February 5 of their new Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit for the M&P Shield 2.0. Pre-orders will begin on Monday, January 29.

Like with other popular Apex upgrades for the M&P Shield, Shield 2.0 owners will have three options for improving their trigger pull.

#1 Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit (part# 100-171) – MSRP: $159.95

The most popular option, by far, is the full Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit. This kit is a combination of the Apex Duty/Carry Kit for the M&P Shield 2.0 and the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger for the M&P Shield 2.0.

The full kit reduces pre-travel and over-travel by approximately 20% while delivering a smooth, consistent trigger pull that is approximately 1-2 lbs lighter (based on variations in factory tolerances and the combination of springs used) with the advantages of shorter over-travel and shorter trigger reset.

By using a combination of the Apex springs and the factory sear and trigger return springs the user can set the trigger pull weight within a range suitable for duty/carry purposes.
