Scott with Kentucky Ballistics pits a 55-pound cast iron anvil against a sampling of .50-caliber BMG rounds in assorted flavors. Using a Serbu BFG50, he starts with a blue tip incendiary round, then goes to a silver and red-tipped armor-piercing incendiary tracer, and follows up with just a plain jane silver tip armor-piercing incendiary.
To take on the remnants, Scott goes to the (relatively) smaller .338 Lapua and .308, among others. Also, for those following along at home, don’t shoot hard things with bullets due to ricochet risks.
