Anticipated Long Range National Matches Return Met With Success in 2018

CAMP PERRY, Ohio-(Ammoland.com)- At the 2018 National Matches at Camp Perry, the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) introduced its new series of Long Range events to competitors. Three days of long range rifle matches, held at 800, 900 and 1,000 yards, were added to the event schedule to allow long range marksmen the opportunity to fire on the Camp Perry grounds following the National Rifle Association’s decision to leave the annual event in Ohio.

Those who participated in the inaugural matches were generally pleased with the series lineup and the organization of the competitions brought back to Camp Perry after a two-year absence, leaving such comments with the CMP as:
