Anti-Gun Tim McGraw Doubles Down As Currington Backs Out Of Gun Control Benefit Concert.

Country music star Billy Currington, currently on tour with Tim McGraw, announced on his Facebook page that he will not play a benefit concert for a Newtown-based gun control group.

I’ve never been one to take on controversial issues – I’m a singer. I do feel strongly about honoring and supporting the Sandy Hook community and will be making a donation to a local organization.
