American Built Arms Company releases a new rifle, the A*B Arms MOD*X Rifle, chambered in what has become one of the industry’s favorite rounds — 6.5 Creedmoor.
Built in the U.S., the MOD*X Rifle features a lightweight, bolt-action design with a Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD barreled action. Delivering a modular style chassis, the MOD*X is capable of accepting a bevy of after-market accessories, according to the company, mounting products such as the A*B Arms MOD*X GEN III Side Folder Mechanism and KeyMod parts.
The rifle ships standard with upgrades such as the A*B Arms Urban Recoil Pad, the Ergo 4009-BK pistol grip, the A*B Arms Xtreme 13.5” aluminum hand guard alongside a heavy, threaded barrel.

“The MOD*X Rifle was designed around the extremely popular MOD*X GEN III Modular Rifle System,” Jason Combs, President and Founder of American Built Arms Company, commented in a news release. “Along with our relationship with Remington Outdoor Company, we were able to merge the Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD in both .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor to create one outstanding, bolt
