Alabama: Youth Squirrel Hunts on the Calendar

Montgomery, AL -(AmmoLand.com)- Two state parks in the Black Belt – Lakepoint Resort State Park in Eufaula and Blue Spring State Park in Clio – have youth squirrel hunts scheduled for mid-February 2016.

The hunts are limited to organized youth groups, such as churches or Scout groups, with eight to 10 hunters from ages 9-15. The hunts are free and camping is encouraged.

The Lakepoint hunt is from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Feb. 13. For more information, call Mark Jackson at 334-687-8011. The Blue Springs hunt is from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Feb. 20.
