Montgomery, AL -(AmmoLand.com)- Teams from 14 states and Canada converge on the Great Southern Outdoors Wildlife Plantation in Union Springs from Dec. 1-10 for the World Champion Bow Hunter competition.

Never before has there been a competition based on a true test of the entire skill set of the successful archery hunter. The winners of this competition will be judged on scouting ability, stand location, scent and visibility management, shooting proficiency and every other factor that comes into play in fair chase bow hunting.

The teams will draw for exclusive territories on the 6,000-acre plantation, spend a day scouting and three days hunting. The teams will be judged on a point system and the winning team from each of the two elimination rounds will return for the extended deer season in February for the grand finale.
