Karma just lit one up on an aggravated robbery suspect in Waco, Texas.

Waco Police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said at 11:15 p.m. Saturday night, an armed robbery suspect wearing a ski mask walked into Tee’s Smoke Shop and demanded money at gunpoint.

Unfortunately for him, the employee behind the counter was armed, and defending his own life, drew his weapon and shot the suspect several times.

The employee’s swift defensive action caused the suspect to flee the scene, but police said he was later dropped off at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center by an unidentified, but obviously caring, friend.

Still have no idea how criminals think they’re going to get away with anything like this in Texas, but hey – thanks to them, we have yet another example of how law-abiding citizens use guns to successfully thwart crimes and defend their own lives!
