Feminists, by and large, are not fans of gun rights. Politically, they are on the left end of the spectrum, ranging from just left of center and going all the way into the bat-guano realms of the Left. Believe me. I’ve seen some of their writings. They’re out there.

However, among the many issues facing women are things like rape. It’s a horrific crime that doesn’t just brutalize a woman at that moment but continues in her mind for years to come. Frankly, I don’t think we’ve invented a punishment severe enough for these people, and I’ve read a fair bit on medieval torture devices.

The problem with rapists is that they’re typically much larger and stronger than their victims. Further, they tend to use intimidation and surprise to their advantage as well.

Women need an equalizer like a firearm, yet most feminists wouldn’t think of carrying a gun.

However, a couple of speakers connected both gun rights and women’s rights recently.
