Aero Precision makes some high-end tactical rifles, and for 2016, it’s decided to offer an entry-level rifle that’s ready to go out of the box while also being a great platform for upgrading to your specifications at your leisure.

The AC-15 uses a forged 7075-T6 upper receiver mated to a barrel chambered for 5.56mm NATO ammunition, with a full mil-spec bolt and bolt carrier group.

The barrel has M4 profile, but in a civilian-legal 16-inch length, with an A2-style muzzle brake, and it’s finished inside and out with a QPQ black nitride finish. The AC-15 also features a carbine-length gas system for reliability.

The standard pistol grip and multi-position-collapsible stock keep it classic, and the Magpul MBUS flip-up rear sight interfaces well with the fixed front sight post. Each AC-15 ships with one Magpul magazine; add cartridges, and you’re ready to go shooting right out of the box.
