A Whole “New” Method of Predator Control

If you’re an outdoorsman, you know that nothing can ruin a successful season quicker and be more detrimental to future game populations than predators. The predator population in my home state of Georgia has gotten to be so bad in some areas, trail cams that were producing healthy deer photos now show more coyotes than deer.

Check the dates on the trail cam photos. Within a month of a hefty bachelor group showing up on camera this past season, those wile coyotes showed up and started wrecking havoc. Two of the yearlings that I had been watching playfully hop around were later found on the property, victims of the predators.

We have implemented various predator control techniques to help protect our deer and turkey populations. But it seems for each one you get, two more appear. Needless to say, I’m always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to get these guys.

I’m not going to lie, when I first started watching this video I was certain it was a joke. But after seeing how effective it is, I might have to give it a try.
