This is not your average Heckler & Koch USP pistol, but rather the less polygonal P8 as adopted by the German home team in 1994.
Don’t get us wrong, the pistol is fundamentally the USP but the Bundeswehr ditched that gun’s polygonal rifling and went with the more traditional lands and grooves when they chose it to replace the venerable Walther P-38 (P-1). It also has a different safety decock system, a translucent mag, and some other minor tweaks such as in sights and finishes.
