Walther Arms expands its popular PPQ pistol platform, launching an optics and suppressor ready option — the PPQ M2 Q4 TAC.
The new PPQ boasts a threaded barrel in 1/2×28 alongside a “suppressed” recoil spring. The slide ships with a LPA fiber optic front sight and a rear LPA competition iron sight. In addition, the pistol shares the same mounting plate system as the Q5 Match, which touts compatibility with Trijicon, Leupold and Doctor optics.
Chambered in 9mm, the Q4 PPQ delivers the PPQ Quick Defense trigger, offering a 5.6-pound trigger pull and short 0.1-inch reset. Measuring in with an overall length of 7.8-inches and tipping scales at 26-ounces, the gun comes with one 15 round and two 17-round magazines.
“The Q5 Match has been very popular and we have had a lot of interest in a 4-inch more tactical version We are excited to combine a suppressor ready and optics ready pistol into a best of both worlds platform.” Luke Thorkildsen, VP of Marketing and Product Development of Walther Arms, said in a press release.
The PPQ M2 Q4 TAC features a MSRP of $799.
