Suspect shot in attempted robbery at Midtown apartment

A 49-year-old man was shot and is in critical condition after police said he attempted to rob a woman outside of her Midtown apartment early Tuesday morning. The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of N. McLean near Poplar, police said.
