Okay Industries announced a new color on its SureFeed AR-15 magazine series, officially launching the desert tan design Friday.
The desert tan mags meet or exceed U.S. military specifications and are compatible with any Mil-Spec Ar-15 platform. Like all SureFeed USGI type mags, the new color comes in 20 and 30 round configurations and are made in the U.S.
The magazine body and floor plate are constructed from lightweight aluminum that is both heat treated and hard coat anodized for strength and durability. A proprietary desert tan coating has been applied to the body and features a nano-PTFE additive for increased lubricity. The coating also touts a boron additive for durability and performance.
Boasting a four-way, anti-tilt, non-hygroscopic resin follower in the 30 round magazine, the newest addition also offers a high performance, Mil-Spec stainless steel spring that aim to keep rounds properly aligned.
The Desert Tan flavor of SureFeed magazines are now available with the 30 round capacity serving up a MSRP of just under $20.
