EDGEFIELD, S.C. -(Ammoland.com)- More than 100 shotgunners saddled up in golf carts and took to the south course of the Palmetto Shooting Complex at the National Wild Turkey Federation for an afternoon of sporting clays to benefit the work of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation.

In the CSF’s first fundraising event at the shooting complex, participants each shot a full round of sporting clays (100 targets) and also enjoyed an evening of food, fellowship and fundraising at the facility’s beautiful open-air pavilion.

“We are really proud to have the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation here at the Palmetto Shooting Complex,” said Becky Humphries, NWTF CEO. “They are working to protect our hunting, fishing and shooting rights across the country through their efforts in D.C. and also by heading up the sportsmen’s caucuses at the national and state levels. Their work is absolutely crucial for the lifestyle we believe in.”

In showing their support for the CSF, more than a dozen legislators from South Carolina, as well as two from Georgia, made appearances during the festivities.
