Mississippi Man Fatally Shoots Kidnapper After Having Gun Held To His Head

Imagine being taken with your wallet to the ATM by 2 armed men, and they start talking about doing something to your wife… What would you do?

Authorities said the incident occurred in the Eastover area of town shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday. They said the victim was putting items into his truck when two men armed with guns approached him and forced him into his home according to WAPT.

Police said the men took the victim’s wallet and drove him to a nearby ATM to withdraw more money.

Authorities said the men mentioned returning to the house to do something to the man’s wife. When they made him get out of the truck, police said the man grabbed a gun and began shooting at the two men.

One of the men died at the scene, however the second is still at large.

Police said the man was last seen wearing a bandana with dark clothes. He was driving a tan SUV without a tag.

Police called the shooting was a justifiable homicide, but said it will go to a grand jury.
